PERFORMANCE AND BATTERY LIFE

In the current smartphone market segment all the Premium smartphones come with the most powerful chipsets currently available to give their best , and in the past year we've seen the processor go One step up from a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 to a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 and will be seeing a new variant of snapdragon 805 next year with increased power. This powerbeast smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU clocked at 578MHz, both of which helps to boast the performance of the phone along with snapdragon processor.
htc one m8 specs and performance
The internal power management ,processor and ram coordination works together to give you best performance ,It's so smooth and crisp that You don't have to pay attention to what's going on behind the scenes to give best results. That's what the power of Snapdragon 801 processor; it was hard to catch any failures, and even then we couldn't find anything lagging behind to catch it and mention out here. We tried our best to make it crash by loading it with countless processor-intensive tasks and graphics-heavy games along with heavy memory consuming applications, but it stood on its ground like a stubborn cow to stand out of the crowd.

Talking in terms of battery life of this smartphone , we love battery life even more than the superpower of phone because without it smartphone is a dumb phone for everyone. The M8 comes with a 2,600mAh battery inside, which is 300mAh larger than last year's version. Before reviewing the phone, we predicted that we'd see roughly the same life on this model as we did the M7, primarily because of the larger display and more powerful processor with a higher clock speed.

On days with heavier use of phone, the battery was much closer to get empty. This improvement was amazing seen in standard video rundown test, in which the unit yielded nearly 11.5 hours while watching a high-def video. Considering the M7 only made it 6.5 hours on the same test, we'd call that good news indeed to see enhanced battery life.

The BoomSound also help in easy conference calls over speakerphones . Speaking of which, we could tell that BoomSound was louder than that it was on the M7, and music sounds clearer. The only issue we had in performance was with the GPS,a bit hanging out there with blue navigation dot and then getting back on track.

Camera simplified

HTC One (M8) is the first device from HTC to have a dual rear camera and dual coloured flash to help in better colour reproduction.  To state it correctly it is a 4 megapixel UltraPixel resolution rear camera which comes along with a secondary rear sensor just above the primary camera to improve depth and add the ability to refocus your shots after they've been taken as it has inbuilt depth analyser to measure depth of image after it has been taken.
for the selfie loving people htc has put a 5 megapixel front camera with ability to shoot full hd videos and photos.

htc one m8 duo camera with dual flash and depth sensorTo use the dual camera one doesn't have to do anything as everything is done automatically. One just needs to click the picture and after that one needs to open gallery to apply effects like post-capture focusing, a depth map, insert someone in the picture, gives themes to clicked pictures and apply further modifications and customization's. The camera interface comes with six shooting modes - regular, video, Zoe, front camera, Dual capture and a 360-degree panorama mode for great picture capture experience.

The actual result of camera in real life test gave mixed results i.e in bright light  pics were amazing with sharp detailing and good colour reproduction. In the dim lit conditions pictures were decent but not great.

SENSE UI 6.0

In the Htc one M8 ,Htc introduces a upgraded evrsion of its sense ui version 6 . As with most KitKat launchers, the M8 home screen feels more premium  because the status bar on top and virtual navigation bar on bottom are both transparent. You now have three traditional soft keys representing buttons for back, home and recent apps which all android devices .In this version of sense HTC has laid more stress on design colors as we can see Most Sense apps and features on device comply with specific shades depending on which color theme you choose .

Talking about the new customized BlinkFeed ,it still sits to the left, and you can add panels to the right . The app menu is in its usual place, though HTC removed the Sense clock from the top and made it easier to push apps from here to the home screen -- pressing and holding an app lets you place it directly onto your home panel of choice. but the catch is that you cannot place folders in app menu allthough undireable icons can be hidden.

Most of Sense ui 6.0 has been tweaked in one way or another to give it a better llok from its previuos vesion 5.0, but all of the basic mechanics are the same as the last version. This means that anyone who has used Sense 5 will experience difficuty in handling the phones ui.another thing to notice on m8 is that HTC uses a lighter, larger and more modern-looking font on the majority of its UI, which does a great job of making use of the new One's extra screen space as its 5 inch full hd screen to delight its users.

htc one m8 sense ui 6 simplifiedIn HTC M8 There's a new gesture feature called Motion Launch in sense 6. It takes Nokia's and LG's double-tap-to-unlock and expands upon the concept with swipe gestures from blackberry to unlock the phone but with much more advancements. You can still double-tap to wake up the lock screen, but you can also swipe your finger in different directions to bypass the lock screen entirely and take you directly into specific functions (provided you don't have any security locks in place). Swipe up to go into the home screen; swipe right to access BlinkFeed; swipe left to launch the widget panel; and swipe down to activate voice dial for faster calling. If you want to take a picture, hold the volume rocker and lift the phone up in landscape mode.

The reason we're hopeful that HTC will improve its proprietary features available in core sense ui and os integration is because it's already done a pretty good job fine-tuning BlinkFeed ,its one of the main sense feature.its a fact that Ever since BlinkFeed's debut in the original One, HTC has continued to make it more customization and more advanced to get most out of it for its users .

For instance, if you're interested in any given subject you can do a search for that topic and create a whole feed around it. On top of that, the company now boasts over 1,000 content partners, so there's no shortage of reading material here. Also, HTC tells us it will soon be releasing a developer kit for BlinkFeed, which means developers will be able to add their own feeds and content.

Sense 6 also adds a Do Not Disturb mode, what is does is that, It silences your phone so your sleep isn't interrupted by the latest amazon newsletter hitting your mailbox. However, HTC's option adds multiple presets, so you can change the hours based on which day it is; this is ideal for anyone who needs to be on call on specific days.

Htc M8 also features a new battery conservation feature called Extreme Power Saving Mode. In This mode,it is possible to extend the life of your battery life by huge extra hours; it's supposed to last you 15 hours with just 5 percent battery left, and up to two weeks if you're at full. To do this, it cuts all of your connections and background apps, and essentially turns your phone into a feature-phone (mind it guys ,it reminds me of nokia 3300 classic).
It even comes with an incredibly basic launcher that gets you manual access to calls, texts, email (on the Sense app, that is), calendar and calculator for battery saving features when you run out of juice and are in urgent need to make call or send a message.

The fact is Insipte of new features ,more metal in body it will face stiff competitions from its rivals like samsung S5 which tends to sell millions of units every year and htc selling less comparatively .so only if htc wants to remain in the game of smartphone market ,it should rigorously work on new models after correcting the drawbacks of previous one.

hopes to see a all new stunning next version of HTC one m8 next year.
